The step lays beneath the working platform of the main ladder and can be lifted for a total platform height of 3,5 meters. The most important aspect of this innovative design is that the carbon absorbs the damage ensuring that the aircraft remains unharmed. Carbon fiber combines extremely low weight with high strength making it the material of the future GSE.
